We’re here at one of our favorite steakhouses. The ambiance is great, and the kids are excited. When we’re eating out as a family of 6, we have to be smart about our orders so we don’t overspend. But trust me, you don’t have to sacrifice quality or experience.
MENU STRATEGY
Here’s what we do. First, we go for the early bird specials or look for a specific menu with smaller portions that are still super filling. Another tip is sharing large entrees — steakhouse portions are often massive, so splitting dishes can save you a lot!
ORDERING FOOD
So, we’ve ordered a large steak to split between two of us, the kids are sharing a side of mac and cheese, and we’re loading up on some of those complimentary bread and sides. If you know how to work the menu, you can enjoy a luxurious dinner without breaking the bank.
FOOD ARRIVAL
The food is here, and it looks AMAZING. The steak is perfectly cooked, and the kids are already loving the sides. This place may have $$$$ in the name, but it doesn’t have to cost you that much if you know how to order smart!
